What we collect
- Contact and chat: your name, mobile number, email and the message you send.
- Chit application: the details on the application form: name, age, occupation, nominee, addresses, Aadhaar, PAN and GSTIN.
- Payments: handled by our payment gateway. We never store your card or bank details.
Why we use it
To answer your request, process your chit application, meet the requirements of the Chit Funds Act, 1982 and other laws, and send you information about your chit, including auction updates.
WhatsApp and calls
If you give consent on a form, we may call you or message you on WhatsApp about your request. You can stop WhatsApp messages at any time by replying “STOP”.
How we protect it
All information travels over a secure (HTTPS) connection. Aadhaar and PAN numbers are stored encrypted, and our staff see only the last four digits. Only authorised staff can view your information.
Who we share it with
We never sell your information. We share it only when the law requires us to (for example, with the Registrar of Chits), or with service providers who work for us, such as our payment gateway and WhatsApp provider.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to see, correct or delete your information. We delete everything except records the law requires us to keep.
